Templates

Templates are the core growth mechanism of Hubify. Like Vercel templates or Lovable remixes, but for AI operating systems. A template is not just a UI skin — it is a complete agent OS bundled into a one-click deployment.

What a Template Includes

Every template ships with all of the following:
ComponentWhat It Does
HUB.yaml manifestWorkspace configuration, model routing, intelligence settings
SOUL.md personalityDefines who the agent is — tone, priorities, decision-making style
Pre-installed skillsThe specific .hub skills this workflow needs, pulled from the registry
Model routing configWhich AI models handle which tasks (e.g., Opus for code, Haiku for CI)
Integration configsPre-wired connections (Telegram, GitHub, Strava, etc.)
Dashboard layoutThe Next.js web app — pages, sections, components tailored to the workflow
Heartbeat checklistWhat the agent proactively checks on each cycle
AutomationsPre-wired cron jobs and proactive behaviors

Template Lifecycle

1

Browse

Explore templates in the Hubify gallery at hubify.com. Each template shows its included skills, dashboard focus, and intended audience.
2

Deploy

Select a template and deploy to yourname.hubify.com. The workspace is seeded with the template’s full configuration — HUB.yaml, SOUL.md, skills, dashboard, and automations.
3

Customize

After deployment, everything is yours to modify. Change the SOUL.md personality, install additional skills, reconfigure model routing, adjust the heartbeat cycle. The template is a starting point, not a cage.
4

Fork and Share (Optional)

Customize a template into something new and publish it back to the gallery for others to use.
Community template publishing is available at hubify.com/templates/publish. A 4-step wizard walks you through packaging your customized workspace as a template for the gallery.

Beyond the 6 built-in templates, the community is building specialized configurations for niche workflows. Here is a preview of what is coming:
TemplateDescriptionAuthor
Content MachineAutomated content pipeline — ideation, drafting, scheduling, publishing across platformsCommunity
Health Coach OSFitness tracking, meal planning, workout programming, recovery monitoringCommunity
RPG Life OSGamified productivity — XP, quests, skill trees, daily missionsCommunity
Autonomous Dev TeamMulti-agent squad for full-stack development — architect, frontend, backend, QACommunity
SEO Empire BuilderKeyword research, content clusters, backlink tracking, SERP monitoringCommunity
Community templates are not yet available for deployment. These represent templates that community members have expressed interest in building. The community publishing system will launch after the core template infrastructure is complete.

How Templates Differ from Themes

A common misconception: templates are not UI themes. A template includes an entire agent operating system.
TemplatesThemes
Include SOUL.md (agent personality)Only change colors and fonts
Bundle pre-installed skillsNo skill changes
Configure model routing (which AI for which task)No model configuration
Set up automations and heartbeat cyclesNo automation logic
Define squad compositions (multi-agent teams)Single agent only
Ship a full dashboard with workflow-specific pagesJust visual reskin
When you deploy a Founder OS template, your agent knows it is running GTM for a founder. It has LinkedIn monitoring skills installed, a draft-only safety guardrail on external communications, and a dashboard built around pipeline management. That is fundamentally different from changing the color scheme.
